WeatherTech® - Full Vehicle Sun Shade Kit

These are a perfect fit for my '14 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. I have only tested out the silver side because right now I am dealing with a lot of sun and heat, but they are wonderful at keeping the vehicle much cooler. I sat in my truck after it was in the sun all day with these sun shades, and then sat in the van that had zero protection from the sun. There was a major difference in temperature. They are easy to put in and take down by myself, and my five-year-old was able to put the smaller ones up pretty well by himself. They fit by being pressed against the windows and rest quite well on the window perimeter. I haven't had any falling issues. My biggest problem is rolling them up altogether for storage, but, hopefully, this will get easier the more they are used. Worth the price and the couple of minutes it takes to put them up and take them down.

I installed it several days ago and it took five minutes. Each piece fits perfectly well, holds in place by window trim or visors, and is clearly labeled. Now the interior is remarkably cool and dark, even on the very hottest of days.

The interior is very hot and I worry about UV damage to the dash and seats, so I bought this full vehicle sunshade kit. The results are AWESOME! I installed it several days ago and it took five minutes. Each piece fits perfectly and hold in place by the window trim (or sun visors for the front). Each piece is clearly labeled. Easy to remove and store too. Now the interior is remarkably cool and dark, even on the 98 degree days we’ve been having.

I lost one of the vent window covers, forgot to take it down before window was opened at 65MPH.

This thing let's in very little light. Makes your vehicle almost pitch black in the inside. Highly recommended.

This sun shade is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Precision fit. Typical WeatherTech quality. Second to none. Finally side window shades that fit perfectly. When they say “vehicle specific,” they mean “vehicle specific.” Highly recommended.

These custom fit sun shades are definitely worth the money! If you are planning to use them for privacy while car camping, you can’t do better in terms of ease of fitting them to the windows, as removing them. They were a bit pricey, and I thought carefully before ordering them (on the phone, with Jose, an extremely patient and helpful representative). If you have to choose carefully which item for car camping to order, as opposed to “DIY”, this is it!! Unfortunately, I did not order this kit quite in time for my first car-camping trip in my new-to-me van. “Murphy’s law” proved true for me once again, and the package from WeatherTech of course arrived just after my departure! That evening, it took over an hour and a half, to cut and patch borrowed insulated material together, then use magnets and painter’s tape to “install” them on the windows! I ran out of materials, and did not have quite the level of privacy for sleeping in my van I’d have liked. Good thing I brought along scissors and magnets! Jose, the sales rep I worked with on the phone, could not have done a better job describing the product, installation, and WeatherTech’s reputation and customer-satisfaction policy. Save yourself time and headaches and forget “DIY” for reducing sun and enabling a good night’s rest and privacy while car-camping. Don’t bother to look at supposedly “better deals”! This is the product to order!! Hats off to WeatherTech and especially to Jose.

I bought the full vehicle sun/shade kit for my Dodge Grand Caravan. I take my dogs to shows and performance trials and we all sleep together in the vehicle. I bought the shades to keep vehicle cool and to establish privacy. These shades are perfect for both. My best buy this month!
