Intake Ram Air Kit by Weapon-R®. The Ram Air Kit converts any Intake system into a Ram Air Intake. Ram Air Technology is an technique to produce a cold air intake charge into the engine, to get more free Raw Naturally Aspirated HP. The components in the Ram Air kit are all computer designed and made from a high temp fire resistant plastic, to resist heat soak which robs horsepower from your engine. It's simple to install this unit, you just connect the hose to the top of your Air Filter and mount the velocity stack in the lower part of the grill and attach the hose.

This kit turns your air intake system into a Ram Air Intake. The Ram Air Intake brings cooler air to your intake system. Cold air is denser and contains more oxygen and cooler engine air inlet temperatures result in more power. Furthermore, the Ram Air tube is made from a high temperature fire resistant plastic, to resist heat soak which robs horsepower from your engine. The Ram Air Kit is easy to install. Just connect the hose to the top of the air filter, mount the velocity stack in the lower part of the grille and attach the hose. The Ram Air Kit comes with the Ram Air Velocity Stack, flexible 3-inch hose and mounting hardware.

Weapon-R® products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, during which its products are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship. This Warranty does not apply to any products that have been subjected to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), improper installation, or alterations.

The Warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This Warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the Warranty period, Weapon-R will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. Weapon-R reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this Warranty.

Neat

Beats me if it does anything or not but it sure is cool to say I have a "Ram Air" intake on my vehicle! I am going to order this kit for all if my other vehicles that run another brand intake and adapt it to them!

My Favorite Place to Shop

I was involved in an auto accident recently & I had to re-purchase some items I had purchased from CARiD. I had to replace my Dragon Ram intake made by Weapon-R. The hose is hooked up to my short ram intake, with a Secret Weapon Weapon-R air filter. The ram intake is great addition to my set up. It forces air from the bottom of front bumper into the short ram intake & is at its best when I am driving at freeway speed (maybe a little more than posted speed) Lol!!! Shopping with CARiD has always been a great experience. They carry only the best aftermarket products. Their prices are great & they give great discounts. Placing the order was a snap & delivery is always fast. CARiD is my place to shop for aftermarket auto products. I highly recommend CARiD :)

Works Great

Its easy to use, but determining where to place is the trick, and when it rains you need a shut off valve or just shuve a ball in the tube to block the airforce from pushing excess water up to the filter. Everything else I am satisfactorily happy with! Camaro 2011 v6, mounted tube where fog light is and works good! Cheepest place I found the tube and filter is CARiD.com.

Dragon Ram Air Kit

Got this with the Weapon-R Dragon Intake, for my '96 4Runner. The intake installed with ease, but there isn't enough room from the front of the filter to the vehicle body to fit the tube, so without some modification, I won't be able to install this. Keep in mind, this is specific to my 4Runner; your vehicle may have enough room. Since it isn't installed, I can't comment on the performance, but it looks nice.
