A high performance air filter should flow the maximum amount of air but still provide adequate filtration. Studies have shown that the Polyurethane foam used in Weapon-R Dragon air filters flows up to 80% more air and has better dirt filtration than conventional cotton filters. The Dragon air filter also features an internal tuned velocity stack, technology derived from Weapon-R’s Secret Weapon air filter, for even more airflow.

The Dragon air filter disassembles easily for cleaning, and cleaning is easy because the filter element never needs oiling. The Dragon air filter is available in 3-inch and 4-inch inlet sizes and a choice of various colors. All Weapon-R foam air filters are backed by the Weapon-R Million Mile warranty.

The Dragon air filter is durable enough to withstand many cleanings. To make your filter as good as new, Weapon-R recommends cleaning the filter with Weapon-R’s Foam Air Filter Recharge Kit. Simply remove the mounting screws and disassemble the filter. Spray the cleaning solution on the outside of the air filter. Soak/spray water on the outside of the filter and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse the filter in lukewarm water. Shake off the excess water and let the air filter dry.

Weapon-R® Dragon Filter Heat Shield. Complete your filter installation with the Dragon Filter Heat Shield. This Shield bolts directly to the top of the Dragon filter and completely shields the filter from any heat to create additional horsepower. You can also attach the hose from the Ram Air Kit to the top of the shield. The Dragon Filter Heat Shield is made from heat resistant plastic to help resist heat soak.
