There are many cool air intake kits on the market, but how many deliver what they promise? All claim to position the air filter where it will draw in cool air. Some include barriers that are supposed to shield the air filter from engine heat. Only Volant features a sealed Cool Airbox that thoroughly insulates and protects the air filter from engine heat, moisture, dust and debris.

The engineers at Volant designed the Cool Airbox to house a large free-flowing Pro 5 air filter. The Pro 5 air filter, constructed of high grade cotton filter media with 5 layers of protection, is washable and reusable. It reduces air restriction and increases engine output by using precision pleat geometry that optimizes airflow throughout the intake system. The airbox air intake is located so the air filter can only draw in cooler, ambient air. Access to the air filter for servicing is provided by an attractive polished aluminum or carbon fiber look lid.

From the airbox, cool air proceeds to your engine through Volant's Cross-Link polyethylene air duct. Unlike OEM air ducts that have sound baffles and make awkward bends, the Volant air duct is sculptured to give the engine less restrictive breathing, incorporating larger diameters and unique bends that can't be duplicated with metal ducts. (Also, unlike metal ducts, the polyethylene Volant air duct doesn't conduct engine heat right into the intake airflow, thereby defeating the purpose of a cool air intake!) The end result is maximum airflow velocity and quicker throttle response.

Every Volant Cool Air Intake Kit comes complete with everything necessary for installation, including comprehensive installation instructions. All clamps and connectors are made from quality materials. The Silicone connectors provide flexibility while maintaining strength and thermal stability; they won't crack or deform over time like rubber connectors. The marine-grade stainless steel clamps provide a solid seal that won't loosen or deteriorate.

TMG Performance Products, LLC (Volant Performance) believes in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

TMG Performance Products, LLC (Volant Performance) warrants to the original retail purchaser that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for up to 1 year (4-years or 100,000 miles for PowerCore filters), while purchaser owns the vehicle upon which such product(s) were originally installed. Volant Performance's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of parts that are determined by Volant Performance to be defective, or refund of the original purchase price, at Volant Performance's option, of the alleged defective product. Volant pledges that if at any time you encounter a problem with its products, it will strive to correct the problem in the most timely and efficient way possible, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations contained herein.

Each (DryTech™, MaxFlow 5™, Primo™) filter has been thoroughly tested to ensure lasting performance when utilized in conjunction with a proper maintenance program. Should your filter fail due to a material and or a workmanship defect during the 1st year of ownership Volant Performance will replace your (DryTech™, MaxFlow 5™, Primo™) filter for free.

Volant Performance Donaldson PowerCore® Warranty- Volant Performance ® backs all no-maintenance PowerCore® air filters to be free of defect for 4 years or 100,000 miles. Volant Performance® obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of parts that are determined by Volant Performance® to be defective, or refund of the products original purchase price, at Volant Performance's® option, of the alleged defective product.

No other warranty, expressed or implied, is applicable to this product. Volant Performance shall not be liable for the loss of use of the product, inconvenience, actual or alleged damages whether direct or indirect of any kind, including liability for special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, arising out of the use of, or inability to use the product, actual or alleged labor, including the cost of removing any part, installation, reinstallation, freight charges, transportation, or other related charges, or for any breach of any express or implied warranty, including any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose which would otherwise be applicable to this product. Volant Cold Air Intake

Got the cold air intake for my 2004 Cadillac CTS, works great, sounds great, and really easy to install.

Volant CAI for 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6L

Product does all it claims. Car sounds great too. It was pretty tough to install because of the tight fit and the angles, but I have to say it was worth it. CARiD is a pretty good, one stop shop. I'll be back.

Volant is Strong

The Volant cold air intake was delayed a couple days, but I didn't mind once I heard and felt the power of the Volant. Installation was a little bit of a challenge, every part fitted each other perfectly, the problem was the airbox assembly fitting in the space given, but was nonetheless doable. As soon as it was installed, I revved the engine and could not help but smile in amazement, it was better than I could have imagined! The sound was incredible, and has a mean growl. Next, I took it to the streets, floored it from 20 to 70, and got pushed back very forcefully and about twice as hard as usual, maybe more, the engine roared hardcore, I haven't been able to report fuel efficiency for highway mileage, but I get 1-1.5 better mileage in the city. Hope this helps you in buying a Volant because I undoubtedly believe they make the best :)
