Rear Upper Adjustable Tubular Control Arms (4017-B) by UMI Performance®. Quantity: 2 per Pack. Some competitors may consider these “Race Only” control arms while we consider them Race Ready. This double adjustable lower control arms feature 100% TIG welded fabrication using Drawn over mandrel tubing and QA1 Teflon lined rod ends, all combined to make the best control arm on the market! When you are looking for the maximal performance from your vehicle, you can’t go wrong with this setup. The spherical bearing rod ends operate for a “bind” free operation when high handling is a concern by letting the suspension articulate correctly. These control arms also work excellent as a solid bushing drag race control arm with easy built in adjustment. Quick and easy on-car adjustments can be made if needed with a simple turn of the wrench.
You can easily make pinion angle adjustments in the garage or at the track; it's as simple as loosening two jam nuts! Using UMI's unique chrome moly on-car adjuster, simply turn the adjuster with the control arms on the car to quickly lengthen or shorten the length. Pinion angle adjustments are a must when wanting to lower your track 60-foot times, increase traction and reduce unwanted wheel hop. Teflon lined spherical rod end design allows for a bind free operation, making a great upgrade for both your track and auto cross driven car.
The installed UMI Roto-Joint allows rear end free movement when high handling, auto cross or road race is a concern while still being a 100% streetable setup. The installed delrin race, which lines the spherical ball, absorbs shock and road noise for a quiet and smooth operation on any street or track driven vehicle. These control arms are a direct bolt on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop, improve corning and help track consistency. Constructed of DOM tubing and feature CNC machined mounting plates these control arms are some of the beefiest on the market. Control arms are supplied with Roto-Joints fully assembled and are ready to be installed. Roto-Joints are greaseable and low maintenance making an excellent street setup for your cruiser!
