Sway Bar: This product will work with the factory lower control arms but will not fit correctly with a factory style rear sway bar. To run a factory style rear sway bar with these brackets you need to purchase UMI lower control arms. The following lower control arms will allow the use of a factory style sway bar- Item #3611, 3612, 3613 and 3614. Non-Lowered Vehicles: Product installed on a factory height vehicle is designed to decrease wheel hop and tire spin. Lowering the rear of the control arm instantly plants the rear tires harder into the ground, increasing traction and reducing tire spin. Lowered Vehicles: Relocation brackets are a must for all lowered vehicles to correct lost suspension geometry. By lowering your vehicle, you are changing the lower control arm angle allowing the rear mounting point to sit higher than the front. This will, in return, cause wheel hop and a great deal of traction loss. Adding relocation brackets will correct the control arm angle prevent traction loss. Installation: Brackets are weld-in only, supplied bare metal and install in approximately 1 - 2 hours. Hardware and installation instructions are included with each kit.
