Product Details

Rear Lower Adjustable Tubular Control Arms (2018-B) by UMI Performance®. Quantity: 2 per Pack. Some competitors may consider these “Race Only” control arms while we consider them Race Ready. This double adjustable lower control arms feature 100% TIG welded fabrication using Drawn over mandrel tubing and QA1 Teflon lined rod ends, all combined to make the best control arm on the market! When you are looking for the maximal performance from your vehicle, you can’t go wrong with this setup. The spherical bearing rod ends operate for a “bind” free operation when high handling is a concern by letting the suspension articulate correctly. These control arms also work excellent as a solid bushing drag race control arm with easy built in adjustment. Quick and easy on-car adjustments can be made if needed with a simple turn of the wrench.

Brilliant Durable Powder Coat Chrome Moly version uses 1.250" x 0.095" 4130 Chrome Moly steel. This adds increased strength and reduces product weight. The Chrome Moly construction adds higher tensile and yield strength then mild steel applications, allowing use of thinner wall tubing making a extreme light weight and strong application.

The installed UMI Roto-Joint allows rear end free movement when high handling, auto cross or road race is a concern while still being a 100% streetable setup. The installed delrin race, which lines the spherical ball, absorbs shock and road noise for a quiet and smooth operation on any street or track driven vehicle. These control arms are a direct bolt on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop, improve corning and help track consistency. Constructed of DOM tubing and feature CNC machined mounting plates these control arms are some of the beefiest on the market. Control arms are supplied with Roto-Joints fully assembled and are ready to be installed. Roto-Joints are greaseable and low maintenance making an excellent street setup for your cruiser!

Warranty

UMI Performance warrants all UMI Performance products for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase. This warranty is valid against defects in materials and workmanship for the two (2) year warranty period. It is not valid against defects resulting from, but not limited to:

Misuse and/or abuse, neglect or accident.
Exceeding the item’s design limits.
Improper installation.
Acts of God, including lightning, floods, earthquakes, fire or high winds.
Damage in handling, including damage encountered during shipment.

This warranty is valid for the original purchaser of the UMI product. The warranty is not transferable or valid for second ownership. This warranty shall be considered void if the warranted product is in any way altered, adjusted, tampered with or defaced. The two (2) year warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear (the gradual deterioration of an asset which results naturally from use and/or age, i.e. bearings, bushings, etc.).

Non UMI manufactured parts are not covered or valid under this UMI Performance warranty. UMI Performance cannot guarantee compatibility or performance of its products with other components used in conjunction with UMI Performance products.

UMI Performance cannot assume responsibility for any damages to UMI products nor for claims for personal injury or property damage resulting from the use of UMI Performance products or the improper operation thereof or consequential damages arising from the products or use of the products.

UMI Performance’s two (2) year warranty excludes incidental charges incurred by the end user in the event of breakage (towing, labor, installation, etc). By their very nature, competition suspension parts are continuously expected to exceed to their limits (either by race or road use). UMI suspension components are designed to withstand intense race conditions, although it is impossible to control the quality of installation or the varying conditions in which they are used. This warranty supersedes all other warranties and may only be modified by statement in writing, signed by UMI Performance owners/principals.

All Warranties implied by law, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby limited to the warranty period herein and shall expire at the end of such period.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Awesome

I changed out lake wood trac bars with these control arms and the adjustable bracket what a difference it made plus the trac bars were broke.

Amazing Upgraded Trailing Arms

Great upgrade for the Roadmaster, Caprice, and Impala SS. I bought it for my 1996 Buick Roadmaster Sedan. What a difference they make. The car feels way more planted and controlled through corners. Install was very straight forward. Shipping was excellent as well, said it would take a month to arrive, showed up in about a week and a half. A few notes though, please include the differential housing bushings in with the kit. It's a pain once they arrive and you figure that out. Also, please drill a hole in the passenger side upper trailing for the ride height sensor for the cars equipped with the Automatic Air Suspension. I love to support a small business with great products. I would buy again when I get another car that they make products for.

Huge Difference!

In my opinion a true best bang for the buck mod. Made a drastic difference in how the car handles and feels. Install was simple and straightforward.
