Boost Tee Manual Boost Controller by Turbosmart®. The All-New Boost Tee by Turbosmart is a facelift on the tried and tested Boost Tee you’ve come to love. The All-New Boost Tee features a 33% smaller and more ergonomic design. It incorporates the same functionality that makes it a crowd favourite, including our unique Gate Feature for maximum boost response and anti-tamper locking feature easy to use. Designed as an ideal replacement of the factory boost controller, this product ensures fast boost response with two adjustable boost levels providing stable increases in boost over wastegate spring pressure of 200%+ for the internal wastegate and 100% for external wastegates. With 2 ramp rates of boost, it gives you the option of a fast rise in boost or a slightly tame rise for more sensitive setups.
In cars equipped with a turbocharger, a boost control allows the user to increase boost pressure and gain horsepower. This boost controller is specially designed to control the boost level produced in the intake manifold of a turbocharged or supercharged engine by affecting the air pressure delivered to the pneumatic and mechanical wastegate actuator. The product is smaller and lighter than any other manual boost controller available on the market.
Its Detent adjustment system makes adjusting a breeze, while the Gate system eliminates wastegate creep and improves turbo response by up to 800 rpm earlier in the rev range. This means that you can increase the performance and response from your engine without raising the maximum boost level. By installing this component, you get stable increases in boost over wastegate spring pressure of 200%+ for the internal wastegate and 100% for external wastegates. To ensure lasting service life, the controller is made of high quality brass and billet aluminum.
