Alternator by Tuff Stuff Performance®. All Tuff Stuff alternators are hand built in Cleveland, Ohio and are tested to meet or exceed OEM specifications. All Tuff Stuff alternators are made from 100% new components and carry a one year limited warranty. Tuff Stuff has alternator applications for virtually all muscle cars, hot rods, customs and light trucks in just about every finish imaginable. Many enthusiasts prefer Tuff Stuff's clean, simple 1-wire alternator option which features a low idle cut-in internal regulator and provides plenty of charging at low RPMs. All alternators are for 12 Volts, negative ground systems, except where noted.

Warranty

Hurst Auto-Truck Electric, Ltd., d.b.a. Tuff Stuff Performance Accessories, Ltd., warrants its products to be free from all defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser from the date of purchase at retail for one year. If any of these products are found to be defective, it may be replaced or repaired.

Blown up, burnt or broken starters are not warrantable.
Alternators with burnt stators or stripped rotor threads are not warrantable.
Water pumps with cracked housings or blown bearings are not warrantable.
Chrome plated, polished or painted units that have been scratched or damaged in any way because of careless installation are not warrantable.
Units that have been disassembled or altered in any way are not warrantable.
Unit must be returned in its original box, or it will not be warranted.

There are no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on any Tuff Stuff product

In no instance shall Tuff Stuff be responsible to repair or replace a product under this Limited Warranty if said product was improperly installed, altered or misused, including using the product contrary to Tuff Stuff’s printed instructions or instructions stamped on the product itself.

THE FOREGOING STATES THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY or for any other claim based on any defect in or non-performance of the product(s).

Best High-Amp Alternator Out There!

I have owned now two of these Alternators (Black Wrinkle) for my previous Jeep and now my current Jeep, which is a 2010 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I wanted to upgrade the Alternator because of my SKAR Audio Sound System I am currently putting in. I tried installing the same Sound System in my last Jeep without upgrading the Alternator, but due to the Sound System putting out so much Watts and pulling a lot of power, it killed my battery at the time. I highly recommend this Alternator due to the fact that it performs great, looks great and you can add more electrical accessories without having to worry about killing your battery.

Great Alternator For A Great Price

Great stockish looks, excellent fitment. Solved my low rpm charging problems. Very nice piece! One thing to note is the threaded mounting bolt seems to be metric, not standard. Had to go find a new bolt. Not a big deal though.

Get It!!

If you are dressing up your engine this alternator is a must. It's everything you think it is and then some. Don't think just get it, you will be making the right choise, but make sure it's the right fit.
