The Highlander by Toyota was unveiled to customers in 2000 for the first model year being 2001. This mid-size SUV was developed on the platform of the Camry and, thus, became the first Toyota SUV to be built on the base of a four-door sedan. The Highlander became an opposite to a more rugged and aggressive 4Runner featuring the truck base. The Toyota Highlander became the top-selling SUV by this Japanese automobile brand, and only in 2006 it was replaced by the RAV4. The powertrain of this Toyota consists of a 2.4, 3.0 or 3.3 L engine mated to a four- or five-speed automatic gearbox.
When the vehicle is used on a daily basis, both interior and exterior parts can be damaged over time. In case a dented or cracked dash kit or a cup holder irritates you, you are welcome to check out our selection of Toyota Highlander interior parts.
