Product Details

Extra-Large Midship Fuel Tank by Titan Fuel Tanks®. Similar in appearance to the OE unit, this ultra-durable fuel tank is designed to provide extra fuel capacity and double the range of your vehicle. The package includes a steel mounting strap support set, extruded rubber mounting bushings, rollover safety vent valve, and shims.

Launched back in 2003, the Titan fuel tanks ‘rescued' a great deal of truck owners who buying the gimmicky diesel trucks found themselves wasting their precious time looking for the next diesel stop to refuel and thus were pretty much limited in destination. Titan fuel tanks are designed to keep you going when the others stop, bringing you the freedom of knowing that you choose when and where to stop for fuel.

The Extra-Large Midship Fuel Tank will help you achieve the largest fuel capacity your truck can accommodate. Additional fuel always gives peace of mind when you want or need to put miles and miles behind you. The materials used for the fuel tank manufacturing are the same that the U.S. Military uses in some combat vehicles. High-density cross-linked polyethylene (aka XLHDPE) is a space-age material that provides amazing performance in any weather. What really sets this material apart is its molecular bond: the molecular ‘chains' making up the polymer are ‘bridged' to form a stable three-dimensional structure. This allows for impact energy dissipation throughout the chain of molecules. Furthermore, XLHDPE has an impressive range of chemical resistance and outstanding impact strength. As for installation, it takes up to 4 hours or so, depending on your expertise. The tank doesn't require any modifications to your stock fuel delivery system to simplify the installation process.

Perfect Fit
This tank was a perfect fit for my 08 GMC. This was one of the best mod's I have done to this truck. This Titan is a must for towing your RV. The added fule range now is remarkable. All the OEM gauges work except the miles to empty on the on board computer. But that's not a problem since you doubled the fuel just double the miles til empty. I might add I've had this Titan in for 2 years now without any problems...

Good Product. Pathetic Delivery Time
It's a fuel tank. Not much to rate. My mechanic installed it so I can't rate ease of installment. They got it in so I guess it was easy.

Better Than An In Bed Tank
Great product. Doesn't take up any of your precious bed cargo room. Fairly easy to install. Your trip computer can be reprogrammed to show the correct miles to empty.

Simple installation
I installed the tank myself and love the way it fits so well in the truck. The instructions are good, the kit was complete and the installation was simple. Everything I needed came with the tank.

Titan Tank
I travel a lot and the additional range is important to me. I especially like the longer range with no cans or tanks cluttering up my pickup bed. So I purchased Titan tank for my long bed GM truck with Duramax engine and liked the tank just fine. When I heard about your new Super Series tank for my vehicle, which even holds seven gallons more (62 gallons total), I decided to try one and like it even better. I would be happy to recommend your product to everyone who wants to get the most out of their truck.

Our solution is Titan Fuel Tank
We have been traveling around the country for the last 5 years with a Ford F-350 diesel, pulling a classic car in an enclosed trailer. The biggest problem we've encountered was the time lost with extra fuel stops. Our short bed truck had a limited range of 250 miles due to the stock tank in the truck. Our solution came from Titan Fuel Tanks. Titan offers a replacement 50 gallon tank for our truck that's an exact replacement fit. We have now increased our miles between refueling to 500. This allows us the ability to refuel in states with a lower fuel tax and stop for fuel when we want, not when we have to.

Quality product
I like the durability and quality of the product. The material you use is exceptionally rugged and strong. Also, the poly-construction prevents any corrosion from damaging the vehicle's fuel system. I live in an area in Canada that sometimes sees temperature extremes and the Titan fuel tank performs well in the hottest summer or coldest winter. To increase capacity while maintaining excellent vehicle ground clearance is an important feature, when so many customers spend a lot of time off-road.
