Pitman Arm by TeraFlex®. Quantity: 1 per Pack. The TeraFlex TJ drop pitman or steering arm is used to correct steering geometry on vehicles with 3.5-6 inches of lift. Fits all Wrangler models - YJ & TJ including Rubicon and Unlimited. Lift your Jeep. Lift it for several good reasons, all of which will make it more capable in off-road situations. Lift it to install larger diameter tires by making more room in the wheel wells. Lift it to improve ground clearance for climbing over stumps and rocks. And lift it for the appearance and the commanding driving position, even on the street.
The primary thing that determines the overall ride height of a vehicle is the free length of the spring. These longer springs will raise your vehicle above its factory ride height the correct way. Spacers will raise the vehicle, but at the expense of suspension travel, and for off-roading you need to maintain as much suspension travel as possible. Lots of articulation is necessary to keep as many wheels as possible on the ground. Think about it: how much traction does a tire have when it's 6 inches above the ground? The correct answer is: none. Clawing your way up a hill or boulder requires as much traction as possible, so don't give it away by using short springs. TeraFlex's springs are wound specifically to fit your vehicle, and powdercoated to thwart corrosion.
