    Tow Harness (118263) by Tekonsha®. One-year warranty. T-One Connectors require no splicing of vehicle wires. Simply locate your vehicles wiring harness connector, unplug the connection and insert the T-One Connector into the vehicle's harness. No special tools required. Wire up your tow vehicle and trailer with whatever it takes to get your trailer lights on, the electric brakes slowing down, and the trailer battery charging. From simple wiring connectors, to connectors and harness that lets you plug directly into your tow vehicle harness, to adapters that let your 3-wire car turn signals successfully operate your 2-wire trailer lights, Tekonsha have the electrical solutions for your towing needs.

    Wiring for your trailer can be as simple as plugging in a premade harness to your truck's rear lights, totally brainless. If you aren't fortunate enough to have a truck that Tow Ready have a t-harness for, well, you may have to splice some wires, no big deal. It seems there are a bewildering number of different trailer connection plugs, from simple flat 4- wire plugs to 7-blade plugs as big as an apple. Tow Ready have adapters to let you plug almost any trailer into any truck that's wired for a trailer.

    Next problem: your car or truck has separate turn signals and brake lights. Trailers almost always use integrated brake/turn signals. Fortunately, Tow Ready have adapters that intercept the signals to the trailer lights and make everything blink when it's supposed to.

    Excellent Product
    Excellent quality wiring kit. Love these T connector type kits because if you ever have a power train warranty issue you can remove them without a trace, and they can't accuse you of towing with a car that isn't tow rated. "That hitch? No I don't tow, its just for my bike rack, see, no wiring" Took a couple of hours, most of that was getting the power cable routed up to the battery. Advice for installation - route the power cable to the battery through the interior of the car, don't try to go along the exterior, there is no good place to secure it underneath.

    Touareg Wire Harness.
    The harness looks very easy to install and comes with detailed instructions. I installed a hitch on my car so I was ready for installation of the harness. The tricky part was fishing the wire through to the battery lead under the hood. It works well so far so pretty happy hope it lasts. Shipping was good although had to make sure someone was at home. Fedex doesn't leave the parcel unless some is there to sign. Makes it tough when you live a hour and a half from the depot. All is good though sure can't beat the price.
