TCI Products

Founded in 1968, TCI was originally a small Memphis-based company that supplied drag racing enthusiasts with high-performance transmission parts. Now a part of the COMP Performance Group, TCI is a trendsetter in technologically advanced manufacture of high-performance aftermarket drivetrain products that turns leading edge technology into a race winning tradition. The company's facilities are located in Ashland, Mississippi.

With racing torque converters delivery still the main business, TCI responds to the demand of the market, targeting 80% of its products to street racers and 20% to drag and circle track race enthusiasts. The company has opened a new chapter in improving transmission and torque converter performance with their Heat Dissipating Technology (HDT) Coating. It enables transmissions and torque converters to operate at lower temperatures and cool down faster, enhancing their efficiency and longevity. TCI auto parts are subject to famous Triple Tests - computerized testing of the valve body, full assessment of the internal hydraulics, and dyno test.

Skilled employees and leading researchers and engineers focus on the development and production of drivetrain parts, TCI suspension parts, fluids, and more. Drivetrain components are designed to improve torque capacity by increasing clutch lifespan and longevity in addition to reducing friction. TCI transmissions are perfect for improving fuel economy combined with better acceleration. Drag racers will take advantage of heavy-duty flexplates available for most popular Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler applications. All these TCI performance transmission parts are produced using premium quality materials and are extensively tested.

No less attention is paid to the quality of engine parts, electronics, cooling parts engineered for maximum performance in racing applications. TCI racing transmission fluids and break-in transmission fluids protect transmissions even in the most challenging conditions and reduce their heat-up and wear during the critical 30-minute break-in period. These fluids based on ultra-pure oils need no additives and are compatible with other ATF (conventional and synthetic) by other brands. TCI is a worldwide leader in supplying transmission components designed for AMC, Chevy, Chrysler, Ford, GM, and Pontiac applications.

Awesome Experience
I was impressed, service was wow. First, I needed a new flywheel and wasn’t sure which one I wanted. Sales rep advised to try a TCI flyplate, which is lighter than a flywheel but stronger than stock plates. The price was good and I made my choice. My buy arrived very fast, as promised, which was good as I made an appointment with a tech. Now after 2 months driving all is good! Time will show and I’ll write more.

Good
Received this piece in good shape. Took it to body shop and waited for about half hour to have it installed. Fits and works good. Stall speed seems to be higher, shifting is smoother now. Mechanic told me construction of this converter was stronger if compare with my original one. So I believe it was a reliable investment into my car.
