Product Details

Replacement Air Intake Housing Clear Sight Window by Takeda®. This clear sight window is a direct replacement for those on Takeda Momentum intakes – allowing for easy filter inspection on sealed cold air intake systems. Durable Clear Polycarbonate Construction: With its durable injection molded polycarbonate construction, this filter sight window is resistant to cracking and impact. Its transparent finish allows for hassle-free filter inspection, without having to disassemble the cold air intake system. Easy Installation: The window’s built-in pegs are simply placed within existing holes, then it’s secured to the housing with the included push nuts. This product is designed to directly replace the filter sight window on a variety of Takeda Momentum cold air intake systems. Takeda multiple sight windows are easily distinguishable by their shape.

Good Job AFE! **CEL FIXED**
So, several people, including myself, who purchased this intake for the Scion TC struggled with a CEL popping up after installation and blamed AFE for a poorly designed intake. "NOT THE CASE" the issue comes down to which battery cable you remove during installation. Your supposed to 1. Disconnect the positive cable for at least 10-15 minutes. 2. make sure all couplings are properly placed and that all clamps are snugged and secure. 3. Make sure the MAF sensor is properly seated onto the intake tube (I used dry silicone on the o-ring to help). 4. Reconnect positive cable and start the vehicle. 5. Allow the vehicle to idle for 15-20 minutes to be sure the no CEL shows and your all set.. It worked for me, hopefully it helps you all. In my opinion, this is the best cold air intake for the Scion TC. Thank you AFE!!

Nice Little Step up From The Stock Air Intake
This installs a lot easier/smoother than taking out the stock intake, I dont really have that much car experience but i was able to get this setup in no time by myself. You really only need a screwdriver/socket to tighten down the ring clamps and the directions are simple and straight to the point. I went with the oiled one, thought it was going to be a pain in the ass to take out and clean/re-oil but its actually not bad either. I do wish there were a couple extra tabs to secure it because im clumsy and break/lose small parts all the time.

2015 Toyota Corolla 2.0
I own 2015 Corolla 2.0L. It's not mentioned in selected models. I tested and it fits. Fast Delivery and Easy to install. For Corolla 2.0L one thing need to be consider before purchase this intake. - The Ventilation hose is too short and you needs to get a longer one. That's it and you ready to go.

Throatier Sound, Clean Install, Very Happy With product.
Product shipped quickly, packaged well. Install went well, removed complete factory intake, MAF sensor installed nicely using supplied hardware, looks neat and clean and as far as performance I mean its still a 2.4L but it has a growl to it and along with the MSD ignition coils there's a noticeable performance upgrade.

Wouldn’t Recommend
Threw up a check engine light which disabled almost everything. No tuning available for the na Forester so I had to pay 1,000 for stock replacement.

Great Intake
Super easy to install and there is a noticeable difference in performance. The directions were super easy that anyone could make this modification. I recommend adding the aFe throttle body spacer for added power. Overall a great modification and great product.
