The 4-liter V6 engine is coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission and produces 261 hp. In 2009’s Peterson’s 4Wheel and Offroad, the Equator beat out the Dodge Ram 1500, the Ford F150, and the Hummer H3 for 4x4 of the Year.
