StrongArm gas charged lift supports are intended for use ONLY in motor vehicles as set forth in the Strongarm Vehicle Application Listing. Use in any other applications is improper and may lead to malfunction and serious personal injuries. With respect to any application other than those listed therein, the manufacturer makes no express or implied warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. When used in accordance with the Strongarm Vehicle Application Listing, Strongarm warrants the Strongarm gas charged lift support against any defects in manufacturing or workmanship for a period of 12 months from installation.

StrongArm warranty is limited to the replacement of the unit. There is no obligation to replace a pair as a result of the failure of one unit. Cost of removal and installation is not included in the warranty. Subject to Commonwealth or State Acts or regulations, all other warranties, conditions and liabilities on the part of Strongarm are hereby excluded and confined to the above warranty statement; for any warranty implied by law, the liability of Strongarm will be limited to the replacement of the products, excluding costs of removing and installing the replacement products.

Question:

I have a steel hood... My first Gen XJ6 is a dame and I am restoring all bolts to stronger than factory with Impact tight in every aspect. Now that Im honing in on your New York Product Strong Arm Bolt I only ask 1 question; will it hold my old school steel muscle car hood (hinges mounted from within the lower chrome front bumper) with blade, spring and gravity all working down to these 2 bolts keeping my hood from slamming asphalt? 1973 Jaguar Xj6 Series 1
