Slotted Touring Big Brake Kit by StopTech®. They offer nearly the same performance as the StopTech Big Brake Kits and Trophy full race systems at a more affordable price point. Designed for street driven production vehicles, StopTech Touring Kits include forged 2-piece calipers, larger StopTech Sport 1-piece rotors, StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Lines, StopTech Sport Performance Brake Pads and application-specific caliper brackets.

The stiff 2-piece, fully-forged calipers have designated piston sizes specific to each application and provide a firmer, more responsive brake pedal that provides better brake pedal modulation. Depending on the application, Touring Big Brake Kits are available in two-, four- and six-piston configurations and 5 different caliper colors that use a special high temperature paint to withstand extreme conditions. All StopTech Touring Big Brake Kits include stiff calipers that utilize silicone dust boots to extend service intervals.

The larger 1-piece StopTech Sport rotors, available in slotted, drilled and drilled+slotted finishes, provide greater heat capacity and reduced brake fade. Also assisting in fade resistance and higher performance are the StopTech Sport Performance Pads which have a high maximum operating temperature, and high bite for responsive brakes that can be driven hard.

Great Feeling Braking
Installation of these rotors, pads and lines are exactly the same as stock, so it is straightforward. The brakes bedded in quickly as I changed these right before a long trip. Using the brakes with gusto at highway speeds several times accomplished it nicely. The braking action is similar to stock but with no fade that I can detect. The breaded lines really firm up the pedal feel making the whole package very satisfying. My chief complaint is with the pads. They work extremely well, but the amount of dust is astronomical. Usually I can wait until the car needs washing before the wheels look dusty. These pads literally cake the wheels with dust in a matter of days. I will be swapping these pads for ones with lower dust rating such as EBC Red Stuff. A small thing to complain about, but a deal breaker nonetheless.

The product does what it says and my brakes are brand new now... We just need to work on how CariD to get the drones that will soon deliver our packages to put the brakes on upon delivery..It's time for society to advance..

Stopping Power
This brake set is great, plenty of stopping power without fade. I drive for Waitr and after a day of driving they still stop with no problem. A little brake dust, but it's not a problem.

Quiet, Efficient, and Good Looking.
This was an excellent purchase. I was replacing a pair of StopTech slotted rotors which were delivering pedal-pulse indicating warpage. I live on the steepest hill in town and all my brakes die this way. The previous set lasted almost 5 years and 40,000 miles which is about the same as the original. I expect the same service out of these. I bedded them in as per instructions. They are dead silent and stop on a dime. I got the drilled and slotted option purely for appearance and I'm happy with that as well. I'm still on the original pads and rotors in back since the Brembos do all the work, but will probably upgrade anyway since they look so good.

Worked Perfectly

Hit or miss?
I ordered this set of rotors and pads in Aug of 2018. It is now June of 2020 and they are completely gone and have messed up the rotors. Not sure if it's just me but my previous brakes lasted for a lot longer. This vehicle was also not a daily driver. So maybe I just got some defective parts? Or maybe it's normal wear and tear? Either way, I'll take my chances with the generic stuff over the fancy.

Awesome
These StopTech brake kits are awesome for the price and I do notice a big difference in stopping over the stock brakes. My twin turbo Magnum stops way better than before and fully recommend these if you have mild performance upgrades going on under the hood.
