Matte Black Solid Polyurethane Splash Guards (FGT101020) by Stillen®, 1 Pair. Location: Rear. Stillens Nissan GT-R Mud Guards are a great way to protect your cars finish. Made out of Poly-Urethane they are designed to deflect any stones or other road debris that could damage your vehicles paint finish. Initially designed for the Stillen Nissan GT-R that founder and World Class racing driver Steve Millen uses to compete in the Targa Newfoundland road rally and other rally events, these splash guards were designed to protect the finish from road debris along the rally course. While still a primarily on-road rally, the rally is conducted on public/country roads (sometimes covered in gravel), so Stillen needed a way to protect the finish from any road debris along the race course. Stillen splash guards definitely proved themselves - at the end of the rally, the car came home without any scratches or "peppering" along the sides/fenders of the car (which is what USUALLY happens to rally cars).
With a fit and finish similar to factory, these Mud Guards look like they should have been included on the car from the factory. The great thing about these Mud Guards is how inconspicuous they are. With a design that maintains the great styling and appeal of the Nissan GT-R Mud Guards blend right into the car. These are designed to be painted or left the natural black finish. As with all Stillen urethane body components, these are proudly designed and made in the USA at Stillen Costa Mesa, California facility. No painting necessary, installs in minutes!
