Much Better Options Out There
I bought one of these new online from an automotive tool dealer for three hundred. It doesn’t have the resolution to show the difference in temperature between relays in a fuse box or hot spots on a rotor. All you see is a big red or yellow blur across the seven inch area you point it at. This gets even worse when you add the normal camera picture to the screen. You can easily get the same info from a laser thermometer because this can't show major temp differences in detail.
