It is true. It is not often you damage the rear lights. It does happen, and today's advanced rear light assemblies are quite pricey. Mounting tail light guards is much cheaper and does protect your tail lights from shopping carts and if you suffer a light rear-ending. This provides a good excuse when you really yearn for the great style of tail light guards. The SteelCraft tail light guards are the most stylish of all, with their thin profile cage in stainless steel – in mirror polish or black powder coat finish – and the way they really stand out from the vehicle to give that true, rugged protective cage look.

SteelCraft® is the leading manufacturer of truck and SUV accessories since 1998. Starting with designing and building products from cold, hard steel, SteelCraft then produced grille guards and rugged nerf bars. Nowadays this company develops the most exclusive tubular accessories in the world. What brought SteelCraft to the new level of manufacturing is the cutting-edge design of its products. Being first to deliver a police bar for Dodge Charger to the automotive accessories market, the company has an ability to develop and produce accessories for the newest model vehicles earlier than other manufactures. Most products that SteelCraft makes are made of premium T-304 stainless steel to provide the highest durability.

It Does NOT Fit Perfectly
SteelCraft® - Black Tail Light Guards
I agree with the previous review, the light guards are easy to install but they do not fit as perfectly as one would hope. If I try to attach the small bracket it pushes the guard in so much that I can't close the door without damaging it. I decided not to use them and they more or less fit without any issues but they do stick out a little bit and I don't have that extra support so if I was to hit the guard would completely bend in.

It Does NOT FIT Perfectly
SteelCraft® - Black Tail Light Guards
Overall quality is fine. But it does not fit perfectly. I cannot attach 3rd bracing to my stock tail lights. Is needed to create a new one.

SteelCraft® - Black Tail Light Guards
These match the front Steelcraft brush guard i have on my 2010 Xterra, easy to install and very good quality.

We painted and installed these on a 2015 F350 and they look and fit perfectly! My customer couldn't be happier with them.

Wish I would have bought them sooner. I own/operate a beef cattle farm and constantly have my truck around cows. A few weeks ago they busted out the tail light on the drivers side. The new covers are built strong and were easy to install and have held up under the cows inspection.

Good Product- Easy Install
SteelCraft® - Black Tail Light Guards
The instructions weren't the easiest to follow but once I figured out what they were saying, installation was super easy- much easier than I thought after reading the instructions. Also, the product looks great. I've had the guards on my 2010 Xterra for about two weeks now and even after getting saturated with snow and road salt, they remain flawless.
