Vigilante Premium Hood Protector by Stampede®. Stampede Automotive Accessories top of the line shields are designed and manufactured with an aerodynamic reverse flip for superior deflection providing full hood and front fender protection on some models. Contoured to fit new integrated hood designs, hese body blending hood protectors are engineered to be an exact fit for each vehicles hood style.

Hood Protectors (also known as bug shields) have been around for a long time. In the beginning they were just tall flat pieces of Plexiglas attached to the front end of a vehicle. Effective, but not much to look at!

Nowdays Stampede have a much better understanding of aerodynamics and know that taller isn't necessarily better, it's the shape that matters. The hood protectors Stampede make are designed to complement the look of the vehicle while still providing maximum protection.

Eagle High Mopar 2024
What a perfect fit. I've had numerous compliments about this product all good. No negative responses. Goes through the GO Car washes with ease. This just sets my truck out in front of others.

Whistles At Hwy Speed
2017 Ram 1500 limited. This product creates a lot of extra wind noise on the vehicle windshield. Most annoyingly a constant high pitched whistle. I’ve tested it by removing it and replacing it three times its definitely the hood deflector. It looks good why it has 2 stars instead of 1 but apparently was not tested in a wind tunnel before they decided to manufacture it. I would recommend buying a low profile alternative

Truck Candy
We love love our hood protector. It makes your truck look so classy! Use is wonderful because it is easy to find your ride. It takes your already awesome truck and pushes it up a level. The design is flawless and it matches our Red Rock Metallic paint. You can touch it with your fingers and feel the quality. This our second time to purchase this item with a different design. Good Installation
This product greatly complements the look of my 2015 Ram Laramie. Before installation it's better to run large screws through the large nuts a few times to prevent much friction which makes the nuts spin.
