Vigilante Premium Hood Protector by Stampede®. Stampede Automotive Accessories top of the line shields are designed and manufactured with an aerodynamic reverse flip for superior deflection providing full hood and front fender protection on some models. Contoured to fit new integrated hood designs, hese body blending hood protectors are engineered to be an exact fit for each vehicles hood style.

Hood Protectors (also known as bug shields) have been around for a long time. In the beginning they were just tall flat pieces of Plexiglas attached to the front end of a vehicle. Effective, but not much to look at!

The Product Was Good Until...
Until it has flown away from my hood. Do not drive immediately after installing this part on your vehicle. I recommend not doing it for a day. I didn’t know that fact and as a result, I have to buy a new one! I love the product and will order the same one. It was good for my 2017 RAM 1500. The price is not high. I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a durable hood shield with a pleasant price tag.

Whistles At Hwy Speed
2017 Ram 1500 limited. This product creates a lot of extra wind noise on the vehicle windshield. Most annoyingly a constant high pitched whistle. I’ve tested it by removing it and replacing it three times its definitely the hood deflector. It looks good why it has 2 stars instead of 1 but apparently was not tested in a wind tunnel before they decided to manufacture it. I would recommend buying a low profile alternative

Took a Long Time to Get but Very Nice!
The vent covers were here fast, but the hood piece took months to get here after being backordered forever. We almost canceled our order on that. The pieces are all well-made, fit perfectly and look great though, so they were worth the money.
