Product Details

ST XA Coilover Lowering Kit by ST Suspensions®. This is a set of front and rear twin-tube coilovers with adjustable ride height created for the enthusiast who appreciates performance street driving. One adjustment knob drops ride height lower for a firmer ride with less body roll or returns it to stock height for every day comfort.

The Coilover Lowering Kit is designed for the modern performance car enthusiast who drives their vehicle on the street to work every day. This set of front and rear coilovers comes with one manual adjustment knob mounted on each shock absorber which drops the ride height and dials in a stiffer rebound rate. Set all four shock absorbers identically or set each one individually as needs dictate. During street commuting when springs are extended to full ride height, stock ride comfort is restored. During performance driving when the coilovers are hunkered down, they effectively assist the shock absorber to reduce body roll, nose dive, and rear squat.

Coilover Lowering Kit shock absorbers feature a twin-tube damping design formed of an inner tubular element within an outer tubular element for superior performance. Fitted coil springs are constructed with a multi-level tempering process that includes an annealing stage which heats the metal, then allows it to cool slowly in order to minimize internal stresses and increase strength. Metal is then shot blasted to remove surface imperfections and coated with a durable powder coat finish that stands up to the most caustic grit and grime. Strut casings are made from corrosion-resistant zinc plated steel and feature dirt-resistant threads for easy adjustment in all climates and dust levels. A high-quality elastomer synthetic compression buffer serves as an additional spring, and an integrated dust cap ensures grit and the elements never reach inner valve assemblies

If you are looking to further enhance the performance of coilover kits, ST Suspensions offers Anti-Sway Bar Kits that are available in front-and-rear, front, and rear applications. A cold rolling construction process results in lighter overall weight for the steel, and it eliminates any variations in thickness which can cause erratic handling. The anti-sway bars are solid steel, not hollow, in order to ensure a higher level of yield strength that will maintain its integrity over a lifetime of extreme use. Depending on vehicle application, end sections may or may not be available with multiple mounting holes that allow the installer to adjust tension and resistance in the bar. ST Suspensions also offers the Rear Speed Tech Anti-Sway Bar designed for more aggressive on-road applications that is shaped to double as a tie brace for rear suspension subframes.

Good Performance for a Great Price
These worked very well for my 2009 335 e90. I have M3 style body kit so wanted to leave some room around the tires for bumps so they won't rub and tear up my front bumper/fenders. I have 18inch wheels. I only lowered these coil-overs to 13.5 inches from fender to center of wheel. So there is about 1 inch gap now under the fenders. I left the default setting of compression on these and it rides pretty smooth, although honestly I could adjust a tiny bit harder setting though I was afraid for it to get too bouncy feeling. They handle really well at high speeds. Smaller repeated bumps are a little less smooth, but hey, for the money these coil-overs are awesome! Very happy with them!!!

Suspension Technique
Really nice quality and a great look. Provides a great ride while being lower to the ground. Much better deal then springs and struts separately.

Wish I Did It Sooner
The kit looks better then the picture, easy to install in half a day with some experience (instructions are mostly in German). Rides smoother than I expected for being sport suspension and handles better. Also tucking stock 14" wheels and tires is a plus. With a 2001 Cabrio the factory Jack in the trunk makes it so you don't have to drive onto blocks.

1999 Audi A4 1.8t ST Suspensions® 90602
At first I was fairly bummed I couldn't find something that would go lower. However, I went ahead a purchased them after all the reviews and seeing that everyone seemed to be satisfied with them. I then received them and put them on and could not believe the stance and the ease (minus the rear) of installation. So all this to say this is one hell of a product and will recommend these coil overs to everyone. I am very satisfied and I would also like to thank the CARiD team for your extremely helpful customer service.

St Suspension
Great product all around. Super clean and easy. Progressive springs make this the beat lowering kit I've ever used. From slammed on the floor or a subtle drop it handles amazing and takes bumps like a Cadillac.
