Sport Tech Lowering Springs by ST Suspensions®. This is a set of coil springs designed for achieve handling improvements in cornering, grip, and turn-in response. Stiffer yet progressive spring rate provides a civilized ride over uneven pavement.
Coil Springs are designed to give the performance driving enthusiast a moderate in ride height without the bone-jarring ride that comes from poorly engineered components and improper tuning. Sport Tech coil springs are progressive, with easier compression at the top section providing superior ride comfort. The coil windings gradually become closer together towards the bottom, providing firmness in stages that's there when you need it, not when you don't.
Sport Tech coil springs are designed for a long life of precision operation, and are built to avoid the disappointments of spring sag and corrosion that plague inferior brands. A multi-level tempering process begins with an annealing stage which heats the metal, then allows it to cool slowly in order to minimize internal stresses and increase strength. Metal is then shot blasted to remove surface imperfections and coated with a durable outer powder coat finish to resist scratches and chips that let corrosion get a foothold.
