Front and Rear Adjustable Lowering Coil Springs with 0.8"-1.6" Front and 0.4"-1.2" Rear Body Drop by ST Suspensions®. This is a set of front and rear Sport Tech line springs and shocks designed for the enthusiast who seeks to lower their vehicle to a moderate degree and achieve handling improvements in steering, grip, and turn-in response. Advanced shock valving reduces body roll for faster speed in turns while maintaining a comfortable ride over uneven pavement. Designed for street use only.

Specifications

Front Drop Height: 0.8"-1.6"
Rear Drop Height: 0.4"-1.2"

Features

  • Sport Tech line products are designed for the enthusiast who seeks to lower their vehicle to a moderate extent
  • Spring and shock sets are sold together or separately
  • Front and rear anti-sway bars are also available to build on the benefits of Sport Tech shocks and springs
  • All components achieve better-than-OEM levels of grip, cornering speed, and turn-in response
  • Sport Tech combination achieves sharper turn-in response with more consistent tire contact on the road
  • Body roll is reduced over OEM standards while ride comfort is maintained over uneven pavement
  • Speed Tech Rear Anti-Sway Bar is shaped to double as a tie brace for rear suspension subframes
  • Shock absorbers are a twin-tube damping design formed of an inner tubular element within an outer tubular element
  • Coil springs are constructed with a tempering process (annealing, shot blasting, powder coating) for durability
  • 2-year manufacturer warranty
  • Manufactured in the United States

The Sport Tech line of street use shock absorbers and coil springs is designed to give the performance driving enthusiast a moderate drop in ride height without the bone-jarring ride that comes from poorly engineered components and improper tuning. Similar to the shock absorbers found within ST coilovers, all Sport Tech Line shock absorbers are created from the start to work optimally at a lowered ride height. Because of a twin-tube damping design, an equalization chamber is formed which allows compression and rebound rates to be tuned for firm resistance against body roll while providing more give to soften the ride over sharp potholes.

Sport Tech replacement coil springs are progressive, meaning they have softer compression at the top section where it's needed for ride comfort. Coil windings gradually become closer together for increased firmness towards the bottom. So the ride is firmer under pressure when you need it, not when you don't. Sport Tech coil springs are designed for a long life of precision operation, and are built to avoid the disappointments of spring sag and corrosion that plague other brands. A multi-level tempering process during manufacturing begins with an annealing stage which heats the metal, then allows it to cool slowly in order to minimize internal stresses and increase strength. Metal is then shot blasted to remove surface imperfections and coated with a durable layer of powder coat finish to resist corrosion.

If you are looking to further enhance the performance of Sport Tech springs and shock absorbers, ST Suspensions offers Anti-Sway Bar Kits that are available in front-and-rear, front, and rear applications. A cold rolling construction process results in lighter overall weight for the steel, and it eliminates any variations in thickness which can cause erratic handling. The anti-sway bars are solid steel, not hollow, in order to ensure a higher level of yield strength that will maintain its integrity over a lifetime of extreme use. Depending on vehicle application, end sections may or may not be available with multiple mounting holes that allow the installer to adjust tension and resistance in the bar. ST Suspensions also offers the Rear Speed Tech Anti-Sway Bar designed for more aggressive on-road applications that is shaped to double as a tie brace for rear suspension subframes.

Founded in 1979 in Sanger, California, ST Suspensions® has specialized in the production of performance-oriented coil springs, shock absorbers, sway bars, and coilovers for automotive enthusiasts. The consistent high quality and cutting edge functionality of their products first earned the company respect among demanding southern California custom builders and racers in their home area. As word of mouth spread, ST Suspensions grew over the decades into the international supplier they are today. ST merged with German based KW Suspensions in 1995, and draws on a wealth of engineering talent that has been involved in world class racing series and produced joint products with automotive manufacturers such as AMG, Roush, and Viper. Our website is proud to offer best values on a full lineup of ST Suspensions coilover kits, anti-sway bars, coil springs, shock absorbers, bushings, and individual replacement parts which prove that lowered style and ride comfort are not mutually exclusive.
