Product Details
Sequential Swichback LED Fog Lights by Spec-D®. 1 Pair. Glossy Black housing, clear lens. Honeycomb Mesh Bezels: included. Fog lights help you see the road better in fog and inclement weather. In their location mounted low on the vehicle and angled toward the road, fog lights illuminate the road right in front of the vehicle and reduce glare, creating greater visibility so you can stay on track, for safer motoring. If your vehicle didn’t come with fog lights or the originals are damaged or non-functional, install these Fog Lights. All clear lens lights meet federal regulations for street use.
Installation
When you’re driving in fog and turn on your headlights, the drops of water in the fog reflect the light right back at you, which doesn’t help much when you’re trying to find your way through a fog bank. For this reason fog lights are mounted closer to the ground and aimed downward, so the light is directed at the roadway, thereby reducing the glare created from reflected light.
Fog lights illuminate the road directly in front of the vehicle, so you can stay on your side of the yellow line and off the shoulder when driving at a speed appropriate to conditions. Being able to see where you’re going is key to safe driving, making fully functional fog lights important to your vision. Every Spec-D fog light with a clear lens meets all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and is compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108. They’re designed to exactly replace your factory lights; however some electrical wiring work may be required. Most lights come with detailed instructions to guide you through the installation. Spec-D fog lights are backed by a limited 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
