Product Details

Spring Base Kit by Skunk2®. Skunk2's high-quality Spring Bases are designed to allow cylinder head to accept Skunk2's higher-performance. Each Spring Base is manufactured using the latest 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to make sure the design is optimized for strength and longevity. Engineers then test and prove the design on the engine dyno. Once approved for manufacturing, engineers make sure to only use high-quality steel that's been ultrasonically inspected and certified. After CNC machining, each Spring Base is then individually inspected to ensure proper dimensions and that it's free from machining defects.

Skunk2 designs, develops, and tests its entire valvetrain lineup in-house to ensure superior quality and maximum performance gains. During development, each valvetrain component is tested both on the dyno and the road. Manufactured from the best materials available, Skunk2 valvetrain components provide exceptional performance, reliability, and quality and remain standard-issue on each Skunk2 vehicle that they build and support.

Warranty

The Skunk2 Racing warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 1 year. The warranty period begins on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty is granted to the end-user and applies to products which are purchased, installed, and used for the purposes for which they are originally designed. This warranty covers defects arising under normal use and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or incorrect maintenance.

During the warranty period, Skunk2 Racing will repair or replace, at no charge, a product that is defective in materials or workmanship. Skunk2 Racing reserves the right to either repair or replace a defective component at its discretion and reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product under the terms of this warranty.
