Product Details

Engine Coolant Recovery Tank by Sinister Diesel®. Sinister Diesel's new Coolant Reservoir is made from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum which is TIG welded and pressure tested for maximum strength. This fabrication method makes Sinister’s tank significantly stronger than factory tanks which are molded from two plastic pieces which are sealed together causing stress, cracking and leaking. In addition, aluminum dissipates heat in the coolant system, improving performance and longevity. Sinister’s Coolant Reservoir uses a the factory cap (upgraded caps are available!) and features sight glass for easy level inspection. It is a direct, bolt in replacement for your stock reservoir and can be installed with basic tools in less than 30 minutes.

On new installations of a Sinister Diesel CAT Coolant Filter, they recommend replacement of the first filter at 500 miles and replacement of the second and third filters after 3,000 miles each. After three filter changes, replacement can be done once a year.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY POLICY

Sinister Diesel® branded products covered by this warranty are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. This warranty applies to specified Sinister Diesel branded products. If your Sinister Diesel product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect Sinister Diesel will repair it without charge, or replace it, at Sinister Diesel’s discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. This warranty does not cover gaskets, rubber or silicone hoses, o-rings and other wearable parts, damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.

ONE-YEAR WARRANTY POLICY

Sinister Diesel® branded products covered by this warranty are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to specified Sinister Diesel branded products. If your Sinister Diesel product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect Sinister Diesel will repair it without charge, or replace it, at Sinister Diesel’s discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. This warranty is only available in the United States and Canada. Sinister Diesel is not responsible for direct, incidental or consequential damages for any reason including damage resulting from a breach of a warranty or condition such as scratches in a device surface, lost data or lost or destroyed personal property. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations on the duration of the warranty may not apply to you.
