Product Details
Ceramic Button Transmission Clutch Kit by Sachs®Ceramic Button set is suited for extreme towing needs or work truck setups. The Ceramic Button material increases torque carrying capacity and resist with heat much better than an organic material. Towing performance is increased greatly when compared to organic, but the tradeoff is in the clutch feel. Ceramic button discs tend to engage/disengage more sharply than organic, with the clutch pedal acting more like an on/off switch than a dial.
Installation
Sachs offers three different clutch kits for light and medium duty trucks: heavy duty, ceramic button and made with kevlar. The base kit is composed of the OE clutch system and is suited to be a direct substitute for the original clutch, offering the same performance. If you are running a stock setup and are towing within the vehicles rated capacity, this kit may be for you.
