Nivomat™ Shock Absorber by Sachs®. Sachs invented Nivomat technology as a means to improve the safety and performance of vehicles loaded with extra weight resulting from luggage, towing or other materials. Nivomat self-leveling shocks restore the vehicle to its original ride height within one hundred yards without the use of external pumps or other devices.
Development of a ride-height control system that automatically adjusts a vehicle to its ideal ride-height without requiring an external pump system and offers optimal driving comfort and driving safety in all conditions. A self-contained pumping system inside the Nivomat provides the energy necessary for adjusting the optimum height level, which is generated by the relative movements between the axle and vehicle body.
