No matter whether you're exploring a new trail off-road or flying down the interstate, the front of your Jeep is constantly exposed to airborne flying rocks, stones, bugs and miscellaneous debris. Most just leave minor chips if anything at all but some can cause real damage. Even bug splatter, if not removed in time, can damage your paint, and damage to your radiator or A/C condenser could cause system leaks, overheating, poor cooling, etc.
This Radiator Bug Shield will protect the grille area of your Jeep, providing an initial line of defense that will prevent serious damage. The Bug Shield is available in your choice of black or stainless steel, and comes with mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions. Installation requires drilling. The Bug Shield is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

Not Easy to Install
Not easy to install. Can’t be installed on a 2016 JK without cut my front.

Spartan Grill
The black grill looks amazing. I removed the original insert and added the shark tooth grill insert. Left it black since all my trim is black, will see how original finish holds up against the sun. I did have to trim out headlight openings since I have LED aftermarket headlights but the grill is marked out with cut lines which made it really simple with a Dremel or similar tool. I tried for an hour trying to figure out why the lower part of grill would not fit up against lower radiator support bar where the 6 metal snap in clips are, thinking something was stopping it. I then removed the metal snap in clips that ship with the grill and replaced with the factory ones. The inner clips all went right in. The ones that come with the grill are just not manufactured right. The 2 outer clips however I couldn't get in by turn signals, little too far away by 1/8" too stay in. Not perfectly flush with the surrounding fenders but not noticeable. Still fits tight.
