Rebuild Master Tech's warranty obligation for this product is limited to the terms set forth herein. RMT warrants its auto parts against standard defects under normal use for a time period from the date of invoice. This warranty covers defective materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover surface finish (paint), dust boot/cover, and mounting hardware, including but not limited to rubber bushings.
All warranties are subject to the original date of purchase. RMT limited warranty applies only to the owner of the vehicle for as long as he or she is the original purchaser of the product. Other warranties are limited to the replacement of defective parts in accordance with this warranty. Improper use, installation, alteration, or disassembly of RMT products will void any warranty. The product must be inspected by RMT before credit can be issued, or replacement is performed under limited warranty.
Warranties are for defective parts only, normal wear and tear does not constitute for a warranty. The warranty is for part replacement only and is non-transferable. Commercial vehicles are not covered under the warranty. RMT will not be held responsible for loss of time from work due to a defective part. RMT does not express or imply any warranty as to performance of any part sold. RMT is not liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of parts, including but not limited to punitive, indirect, direct, incidental, and consequential damages. All of RMT air suspension air struts, air springs, and shocks are designed to work with stock wheels. If part failure occurs, aftermarket or non-stock wheels will damage other parts of the vehicle.
RMT is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle.
Installation must be done by a ASE certified technician/mechanic. Proof is required for all warranty claims.
The defective part must be sent back before a warranty can be processed.
RMT will repair or replace, at its option, defective products or components.
RMT retains the right to repair or replace the defective product with a new or remanufactured product, or refund the purchase price at its sole discretion.
This warranty is voided if the installation is not performed by an ASE certified technician/mechanic. It is required to submit a receipt or proof of installation that was completed by an ASE certified technician/mechanic with your warranty claim.
Product warranty: (you will not have any warranty of any kind if your cores are not sent to RMT (if applicable). Warranties are only valid if RMT has your core)
- Struts (inc. coilover kits)– lifetime warranty (non-transferable) – no warranty for broken bolts
- International warranty on struts is 30 days – lifetime warranty applies to domestic purchases only
- Ezl ignition modules – 30-day warranty (must use heat paste provided; RMT is not responsible for codes and/or check engine lights). Any opening or tampering of the part immediately voids the warranty
- Intake manifolds – 1-year warranty
- Ignition coil pack – 30-day warranty
- Tail light repair/conversions – 60-day warranty
- Radio/cluster/pump/electronic repairs – 30-day warranty
- Air springs and new shocks –1/2-year warranty (check your invoice)
- All other RMT parts have a 30-day warranty unless otherwise specified
- Rebuilt air suspension compressors – limited lifetime warranty
- New air suspension compressors – limited lifetime warranty
Please note: there is no warranty for any compressor that has been burned out due to improper use/installation or because the struts and/or valves are leaking! Always make sure that the compressor is not running too long. More than 2 minutes of runtime is a sign of overworking the compressor, risking it to burn out. Please, be sure the compressor is the needed part before you order. Warning: If the compressor is burned out or flooded with water, you will not receive an exchange or refund.
This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover damage or defects relating to improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, shipping damage, normal wear and tear, accidents, acts of God, repairs or alternations not authorized in writing by Rebuild Master Tech or Mercedes Master Tech, Inc., storage and/or improper handling. There is no warranty on commercial vehicles.
International purchases have a 30-day warranty.
