Wool is one of the softest natural fibers, but unlike some materials that are comfortable initially only to turn into rock-hard torture racks as the miles add up, sheepskin alleviates discomfort from pressure points so you can arrive at the end of a long trip comfortable and refreshed. In addition to their softness wool fibers are hollow and dense, which creates an insulating layer of air between your body and the seat, keeping you warm and cozy on frosty winter mornings and cool and dry on broiling summer afternoons. Your comfort is further ensured when it’s hot and humid by sheepskins’ absorbency. Wool is much more absorbent than most synthetic fabrics, without feeling damp, and able to quickly wick away perspiration from your skin and keep you comfortable.
Rixxu™ Sheepskin Seat Cover is made from premium quality genuine Australian sheepskin. Their universal fit design means they can be installed on the seats in any car, truck or SUV. They slip over and are held firmly to the seat back with elastic straps and a rear panel that includes convenient storage pouches. The top panel wraps over the headrest and is secured with elastic straps and quick-connect buckles. Elastic straps and hooks secure the seat cover bottom to the underside of the seat cushion and the cover is held tight to the seat back/bottom cushion junction with elastic straps and plastic anchors. The simple installation takes only minutes.
While we think you’ll want these Rixxu™ covers for their comfort and looks alone, they’re excellent for protecting your seats from dirt and other types of damage, and preserving the value of your vehicle. And they’re as easy to clean as they are effective at shielding your upholstery. Removing them occasionally and shaking them out is all that is necessary to remove loose dirt and restore appearance. Brushing and vacuuming at least once a month is recommended. If spot cleaning is needed, clean the area with mild soap and cool water; for more severe soiling hand wash with mild soap and cool to lukewarm water. After cleaning, rinse with cool water and let dry naturally, stretching the skin as it dries to prevent shrinkage. When dry, brush up the fleece with a coarse wire pet brush.
