    It does protect against mud, but the plastic feels a bit flimsy. Hope it holds up.

    Effective but Tricky to Install
    I bought this liner after the original on my 2002 Continental was damaged. The part itself is of good quality and does the job. However, the installation wasn't straightforward. It took some maneuvering to get it to fit correctly. Once installed, it's been working great, but it might be a bit of a hassle if you're not used to car repairs.
