Holds up under pressure
Got caught in a severe storm, and a tree branch fell on the hood. The hinge took the hit and still functions, albeit now a bit misaligned.

Better than the Original Hinge
I used this hinge after my original one rusted out. The steel build feels sturdy and it seems like it will hold up better than the factory hinge. It’s been a couple of months now, and no issues so far.
