Rear Disc Brake Dust Shields (RK400-16) by Rekudo®. These rear brake dust shields are a supporting part for the REKUDO Suspension and JL8 Brake System - for 1968-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. Dust shields are sold on pairs. These rear dust shields must be used with the following parts: Rear Caliper Mounting Brackets/Adapters: RK400-09 (pair) Rear Rotors: RK400-07 (pair) REKUDO Rear Brake Calipers RK400-11, RK400-13, RK400-20, RK400-22, or Factory 1968-1982 Corvette C3 Style 4-Piston Rear Brake Calipers Fits Vehicles with Factory Rear Axle with Staggered Rear Shocks The 4-wheel disc brake upgrade (Corvette style 4-piston calipers for both front and rear) was offered on the 1968 Camaro as a "Heavy Duty Service" package sold through the parts counter at Chevrolet car dealers. In 1969, the 4-piston disc brakes could be ordered as a Regular Production Option (RPO) JL8 package on production vehicles. These high-end brakes were made available to support racing programs like the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA), and Trans-Am® road racing series.
