Vacuum Hose by Rein®. Air, breather, and vacuum hoses channel air and vapors and make sure your vacuum operated accessories can be properly actuated. Unfortunately, age and exposure to heat and the environment can cause cracks and deterioration with subsequent leaks. With the Rein First Aid program, these hoses and all necessary related parts are always in stock and ready to go to restore vehicle performance.
A lot of heat is created when an engine is running, but only about a third of this heat energy is used to power the vehicle. Roughly another third goes out the tailpipe and the remainder is absorbed by the engine’s metal components. If this heat isn’t dissipated, an engine will soon fail. The cooling system removes this heat and maintains a regular operating temperature that is ideal for performance and longevity. Coolant circulates through passages in the engine, where it absorbs the heat from the metal. The coolant is then pumped to the radiator where the heat is transferred to the surrounding air.
