Both the Budget Series 47-6101 bracket and Heavy Duty Series 47-6438 bracket feature thick steel construction and a powdercoated finish. Direct bolt on - No modifications required. Use this tool to unload the torsion bars on your truck front suspension in order to replace the torsion key or most other front suspension modifications or maintenance. Once the bar is unloaded, it's easy to remove the torsion bar or replace the torsion key with one that raises the truck higher safely.

Sure, you can raise your truck by simply taking an air wrench to the torsion adjustment bolt. Unfortunately, that extra height comes at the expense of a harsh ride. Replacing the torsion key with on that is indexed for the amount of raise is far superior, and lets you use the adjustment bolt for what it was intended for: trimming out the ride height right-to-left. Problem is, you need to release the tension on the torsion bar. It's air-tool safe, unlike some other tools that aren't built sturdily enough. Constructed of forge, hardened steel it should last a lifetime. The unique crossmember adapter tool makes it safe and easy to use even on vehicle with difficult placement of the crossmember. Using this tool reduces torsion key replacement to as little as 15 minutes

A few inches were enough to make the truck's stance level (instead of drooped down in front, as seems to be common today), or to accommodate slightly larger wheels and tires. There was no option for these customers that didn't raise the truck more than necessary, was easy to install and reasonably priced. And so ReadyLIFT was born to bring a line of reasonably-priced, but still highly-engineered and well-made moderate-rise lift kits to market.
