RAYBESTOS® BRAKE PRODUCTS LIMITED WARRANTY
Limited Warranty (for purchases made on or after April 30, 2018)
Brake Parts Inc LLC (BPI) warrants to the original purchaser that all Raybestos® Brake Products (other than Calipers,
which are covered under the Raybestos® Caliper Limited Warranty) will be free from non-conformities in materials
and workmanship. The “original purchaser” is the person who purchases the product from an authorized installer or
retailer in North America. If the Raybestos® brake product is found to have non-conformities in material or workmanship, BPI will repair or
replace the non-conforming product, at its sole discretion.
The original purchaser is the only warranty holder. This Limited Warranty is not transferable. This Limited Warranty
does not include labor or towing costs. BPI will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the removal, replacement,
installation or reinstallation of the non-conforming Raybestos® brake product or of any other parts or components
necessary for such removal, replacement, installation or reinstallation required for restoring the vehicle to its intended
operating condition.
This Limited Warranty does not cover any product when loss is due to misuse, alteration, accident, damage, abuse,
neglect, improper installation of the product, improper application, use for a vehicle or purpose not designed for, or
modification/customization from its original manufactured state. Normal wear is not a non-conformity in material or
workmanship. This Limited Warranty only applies to Raybestos® brake products (other than calipers) installed on
passenger cars, vans and non-commercial light trucks and commercial vehicles, including, fleet, security, municipal /
public service vehicles that have a G.V.W.R. up to14,000 lbs. This Limited Warranty does not apply to products
installed on vehicles or equipment used for the following: towing, racing, competition, off-highway recreational, offhighway competition, off-highway equipment; or vehicles of any kind with a G.V.W.R. in excess of 14,000 lbs.; or
aircraft/aviation, marine, agriculture or industrial applications.
RAYBESTOS® CALIPER LIMITED WARRANTY
Raybestos® Caliper Limited Warranty (for purchases made on or after May 1, 2017)
Brake Parts Inc LLC (BPI) warrants to the original purchaser for the lesser of the duration listed in the applicable
category of the Warranty Duration chart, that all Raybestos® Calipers, will be free from non-conformities in materials
and workmanship. The “original purchaser” is the person who purchases the product from an authorized installer or
retailer in North America. If the Raybestos® Caliper product is found to have non-conformities in material or workmanship, BPI will repair or
replace the non-conforming product, at its sole discretion.
- Element3™ (Friction Ready Caliper) - Limited Lifetime Warranty (Passenger cars, vans and non-commercial light trucks up to 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R.)
- R-Line™ Plated (Friction Ready Caliper / RC (a loaded caliper, which includes a friction pad) - 3 years / 36,000 miles / 58,000 kilometers (Passenger cars, vans and non-commercial light trucks up to 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R.)
- R-Line™ NonPlated (Friction Ready Caliper / RC (a loaded caliper, which includes a friction pad) - 18 months / 18,000 miles / 29,000 kilometers (Passenger cars, vans and non-commercial light trucks up to 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R.)
- Element3™ (Friction Ready Caliper) - 2 years / 24,000 miles / 39,000 kilometers (Commercial up to 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R., example only (not all inclusive): Fleet, municipal / public service)
- R-Line™ Plated (Friction Ready Caliper / RC (a loaded caliper, which includes a friction pad) - 1 year / 12,000 miles / 19,000 kilometers (Commercial up to 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R., example only (not all inclusive): Fleet, municipal / public service)
- R-Line™ NonPlated (Friction Ready Caliper / RC (a loaded caliper, which includes a friction pad) - 1 year / 12,000 miles / 19,000 kilometers (Commercial up to 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R., example only (not all inclusive): Fleet, municipal / public service)
- Element3™, R-Line™ Plated, R-Line™ NonPlated are excluded from this warranty if used for Commercial or passenger vehicles that exceed 14,000 lbs. G.V.W.R., example only (not all inclusive): Towing, off-highway, racing, competition, industrial, modified/customized
