The Ram Promaster is manufactured in the following body styles: a 3-door van, a 4-door pickup and a 2-door pickup. Its choice of engines includes a 3.0L I4 Diesel and a 3.6L gasoline V6 with power transferred by means of a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The Promaster shares the same chassis with and is based upon the European Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer.
