R1 pads are the only real pads made specifically for those that tow heavy loads or Off-Road. These are perfect for larger diameter wheels and tires and/or modified suspensions. These pads are engineered to have high fade resistance while going down hill and also have that cold and hot bite when you need it most.
Longer pad wear on Performance brakes mean that you pay less replacing them, and a 100% asbestos-free and copper-free formulation makes it safe for people and the environment. These special pads are designed with unique compounds that can reduce friction and retain their durability even in the most severe of conditions.
