Installation

Pure® - Factory Style Fiberglass Top Mount Rear Roof Spoiler InstallationPure® - Factory Style Fiberglass Top Mount Rear Roof Spoiler Installation

Most street cars are never driven fast enough to realize any performance benefits from a spoiler. Spoilers are installed for their visual effect, and the right one can make a car look like it's at speed even when it's parked. The Factory Style Top Mount is just such a spoiler. Its distinctive shape follows the design of the one on the factory hot rod, so it will perfectly complement your car's styling.

The Factory Style Top Mount Spoiler is made of high quality material. The spoiler comes with everything necessary for a hassle free installation, including detailed instructions.

And although it can be ordered unpainted, Pure strongly encourages you to select the painted option. The company’s computerized paint mixing system enables them to guarantee that your spoiler will match your factory paint, and it's unlikely that a local body shop will be able to paint your spoiler for less than the price difference.

The Factory Style Top Mount Spoiler is manufactured in the USA. Pure warrants the spoiler against manufacturer's defects for a period of 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Perfect
The color matched perfectly. The install went off without a hitch. I installed the spoiler and had no issues with lining up the holes and drilling them. Instructions were shaky at best but good old YouTube is a blessing. I ran the wires up to the third brake light in the rear and it’s perfectly tight.

Unpainted Spoiler
Shipped earlier than estimate, received in perfect condition, no prep was needed to paint except for mild sanding. Excellent.

Doesn't Fit
The hole for the light wiring is on the wrong side and you can't use the factory light. Barely even lines up with the trunk too.

Amazing
Completely different from what I expected, it looks great and was also very easy to measure and wire up the third brake light.

Far Exceeded My Expectations!
I bought a low mileage used 2010 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0L in November 2021 with OEM Smokestone Mettalic exterior paint in excellent condition. But for some reason, the vehicle came without a spoiler. One of the first upgades I did to the vehicle was adding this OEM style spoiler. At first I was worried about drilling into the pristine trunk lid, but when I discovered how easy installation was after watching a few YouTube videos, I was 100% committed to making this install work. The drill points are already marked on the underside of the trunk lid from the factory, so it's hard to make a mistake. The spoiler arrived quickly, was well packed with no damage and is reasonably priced. The paint matched the vehicle's factory exterior color perfectly. Install took about an hour of taking my time, masking off the paint to prevent any cracking or scratches, and getting the holes drilled just the right size. The screws and nuts that came with the spoiler are exactly like OEM - I have a 2011 Ford Fusion with the factory spoiler that I used for comparision. Just be sure to use clear silicone on the trunk underside of the bolt locations to prevent any possible water leakage and to prevent the nuts from loosening up in the future. I would highly recommend Pure OEM style rear spoilers to anyone looking to add a little class and sportiness to their plain-Jane 2010 - 2012 Ford Fusion.

Factory Style Fiberglass Rear Spoiler
Hi, I ordered this Rear Spolier for my Saab 9-3/2008. I'm so happy, I chose the color for my Saab 278 and everything is perfect! Thank you so much for a great job!! Only downside for me who lives in Sweden I had to pay additional tax 110 $ when they leave packages to me! Do not know if you can write a lower amount when ordering, which reduces the tax. Sincerely, Tony Sweden

Excellent Finish, Not Ideal Screw Placements
I ended up having to glue the spoiler onto my trunk deck, because the screw holes in the spoiler were positioned as such to make them visible on truck lid underside. I have another 2002 BMW 330ci that has a factory spoiler after which the CARiD product appears to have been designed, and that one has the screws hidden underneath the underside lid lining/covering. Ideally this spoiler I purchased would have had the screws similarly situated. But the gluing seems to have worked, and it looks great.
