  • A towing system includes each vehicle and component involved in towing. Each item in your towing system has a capacity or weight rating.  You trailer has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, or GVWR.  Your truck has a tow capacity, payload capacity, and possibly more. In addition, your fifth wheel hitch has a weight rating.  This weight rating must be at, or above, the GVWR of your trailer for you to tow safely.  In addition, if your truck can tow larger loads (has a larger capacity) than the rating of your hitch, your system is only safe to tow loads at the lower rating, that of the hitch
  • Your mounting kit also has a weight rating, just like your fifth wheel hitch. Many times, these rating are designed to match. But, this is not always the case. Your mounting kit may be higher rated then your fifth wheel hitch, but it also could be lower depending on the components involved.  The lowest rating of any one component in the system becomes the rating of the entire system. If your mounting kit is rated to 18,000 lbs., and your hitch is rated at 24,000 lbs., the weight rating of the entire system will not be above 18,000 lbs.  Other components in the system could lower the actual system rating further
  • It is the end users responsibility to ensure a safe towing experience. To this end, it is your responsibility to ensure that the truck, trailer, hitching components, and all other items involved are rated or have a capacity sufficient for the loads involved
  • In order to determine the total tow capacity of a system, you must consider the weight ratings of each component in that system. This includes, but may not be limited to, the capacity/rating of the tow vehicle, the 5th wheel hitch, and the hitch’s mounting system. Actual tow capacity of the system will be equal to the lowest rated component

Does The Job
When I first installed this 3365 capture plate it kept falling off. I ground a small notch for the set screw. It has been trouble free for the last5 years.

The Hitch Is Wonderful!
The unit looks clean! It is a little harder to hook up than the hitch I was used to hooking up. It takes some practice, however that could just be me? It has saved me in some close maneuvers! I did not get a users manual with the hitch! A person that has used a superguilde hitch, in previous years, on their unit said to spray the slide bars with silicone spray before every use. This seems to make the operation smoother! This was a great investment!! Shipping from CARiD was very fast and seamless!!

Pullrite® 2715 - 16K SuperGlide OE™ 5th Wheel Hitch
The hitch was delivered in only 3 days and arrived in perfect condition. (Remember that it comes via a big box truck so it will take some room.) Assembly directions were easy enough to follow so it was in the truck bed in less than an hour. I have an electric wench in my shop/garage so it was easily done without assistance. Assembled the hitch in the floor. Hoisted it up and backed my truck under it. Lowered in place and made final adjustments. Happy! Happy! Happy!

Pullrite Hitch
I gotta say this hitch is the perfect solution for anyone wanting to pull a big, heavy 5th wheel with a short bed truck. There's no having to get out and manually adjust it for tight maneuvering. It does it all automatically for you. The only thing you might have to take into consideration is the weight of the hitch. At over 250 pounds, you're going to need some help getting it in and out of the truck.

Pullrite 2766 - 20K ISR Custom Mounting Kit
I installed this kit myself on my 2017 Ford Super Duty. Every part fit my truck perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow and I had no trouble at all. The factory hopes in the truck frame matched the brackets perfectly and the design is better than any I've seen. I highly recommend this product.

Pullrite 2700
I just bought my new Super Glide hitch. The design and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. It was very easy to install and it performs exactly how they said it would. I looked at several other brands and I am convinced that this is the best design that there is. I also purchased the cover which I believe is a must.

Great Hitch.
I love the hitch and could not be more pleased. Very sturdy and to me, it is easier to connect my fifth wheel by just lowering the ball down into the hitch. Looks like good quality construction and best of all it and the mounting bars fit down in the bed of the truck in such a way that I can cover them with my tonneau cover when not in use. I recommend the hitch to others.
