50 lb. Citrus Spray (31862) by Prochem®. Non-hazardous citrus spray for aluminum and cast iron. Citrus Spray is a granular mild alkaline blend of natural solvent, surfactants, and biodegradable detergents. Citrus Spray penetrates soils on contact, softening and liquefying heavy burnt-on deposits quickly and effectively. Citrus Spray’s exceptional cleaning power and 100% biodegradability make it ideal for machine shop engine rebuilding, automotive and truck transmission overhaul cleaning. Citrus Spray, in spite of its remarkable cleaning power, is environmentally safe. It rinses easily with water. It is biodegradable. It is non toxic and even smells good.
Operating Data
- Equipment: Mild steel jet spray machines are suitable
- Concentration: Citrus Spray is used at varying concentrations depending upon the type and degree of soil to be removed. Generally, 3 – 12 ounces per gallon of water.
- Temperature: 160°F to 190°F
- Usage: Citrus Spray is safe on all metals
Safety Factors
Citrus Spray contains sodium metasilicate. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact should occur, flush with water immediately and for at least 15 minutes. Contact physician, especially for eyes.
