Aluminum Quick Release V-Band Set (517250003) by PPE®. 5" ID. 3 Pieces. Building your custom turbo kit or boost tubes is easy with PPE's Interlocking 6061 Aluminum V-Band Flanges and V-Band clamps. These flanges are designed to work with aluminum piping which is typically the material of choice when fabricating a custom turbo system, a compound turbo system, or boost tubes. Great for any quick-release application which uses aluminum tubing. Constructed from high-grade 6061 aluminum, PPE flanges interlock to form a tight seal, which prevents the possibility of leaks. PPE aluminum flanges also have a tube locating ridge, which assists with alignment during welding. Clamps manufactured with corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel which offers better durability to the everyday extreme environmental conditions these parts are subjected to. Quick-release mechanism with a one-piece FlexLoc Nut that is ideal for severe service uses and won’t fail like inferior nylon nuts. Because a FlexLoc Nut has no nylon insert, it consistently provides better tensile strength than the leading "two-element" locknuts and is ideal for elevated temperature environments. PPE’s deep register holds the V-Band Flange securely until you are ready to release. Easily and securely reconnects in seconds.
