It grew in size and was moved to the A-body platform, added more body styles (including a station wagon), saw many changes in the powertrain to keep up with the times, etc. The model was produced till 1981, though in 1988 the nameplate was revived to denote a subcompact car marketed in North America and New Zealand, which was basically a rebranded Daewoo LeMans. The final model year for this car was 1993.
