The Pontiac Catalina was an entry-level full-size car produced between the years 1950 and 1981. Originally, this name was applied to Pontiac's DeLuxe Eight and Chieftain Eight ranges and was also used to denote a hardtop body style. It became a standalone model in 1959, being affordably priced and offering amenities such as full carpeting, vinyl upholstery, glovebox and trunk lighting, and more. In the early sixties, this model was Pontiac's top seller and held the third place in industry sales, ceding the first and second places to vehicles by Ford and Chevy. It is an interesting fact that a modified 1963 Pontiac Catalina served as a tow convertible for a lightweight lifting-body aircraft, developed within the NASA M2-F1 program.

Doing basic maintenance on a regular basis will help you keep your sophisticated Catalina running strong and your repair costs down. Your car's systems have thousands of moving parts that need to be properly lubricated, cooled, cleaned, etc. From engine oil that lubricates the 'heart' of your car and protects its components from corrosion, premature wear, and contamination by dirt and deposits, to coolant that prevents engine overheating, the fluids in your vehicle are crucial for it to run smoothly. These and other fluids can be found in our range of Pontiac Catalina oils, fluids, and lubricants.
