The Plymouth Voyager was a minivan manufactured from 1984 up to 1998 by the Chrysler Corporation, and from 1998 through 2000 by Daimler-Chrysler. This short wheelbase vehicle lived through three generations. The first-generation Voyager (1984-1990) was a three-door minivan with seat offerings for five, six, and seven adults. The eight-seat version was only available in 1985. The standard engine was a 2.2L I4, while a 2.6L I4 was an option. A 2.2L I4 was replaced with a 2.5L I4 engine in 1987. A 2.6L power unit was changed in favor of a 3.0L V6. Both replacements were fuel-injected. A 3.3L V6 appeared in 1990. The second-gen Voyager got one more power unit: a 3.8L V6. The Last Voyager was sold in the USA only in a base and advanced SE packages.
