The Plymouth Duster appeared on the market in 1970, designed to appeal to buyers looking for a sizeable yet sporty car. The car followed the original concept until 1976. The vehicles manufactured from 1977 to 1994 didn't represent a separate model, but offered an optional trim package for the Plymouth Turismo, the Volaré, and the Sundance. At its launch, the Duster was engineered as a two-door coupe and was constructed on the A-body platform. The offered options included deluxe wire wheel covers, a radio tape cassette, a rear spoiler, bucket seats with console, remote control mirrors, etc. One may notice the Duster in such TV series and movies as “American Muscle”, “Married with Children”, “Dazed and Confused”, “Bloody 27”, and others.
