Planted Technology® SB259DR - Driver Side Seat Bracket

I ordered Planted Technology seat brackets for my 1980 Honda Civic to complete the install of the Braum racing seats that I also ordered from CARiD. These seat brackets were required for the install. They are made of heavy duty, powder coated steel and the bolt holes did line up on a dry run with the fastening points on the car's floor pan. I also lined up the dual lock sliders that came with the seats with the bolt holes where they would attach on top of the brackets and they were good, too. I know these brackets are custom made to order; this will add to the cost of the product. I still find that the $120.00 price per bracket seems high for the material and the labor involved. I am only going to replace my old seats this one time so I bit the bullet and did it right. I'm redoing the floor carpet after sound deadening the entire floor pan so the brackets are as yet uninstalled but my dry run fitting tells me the install will go smoothly. I know, famous last words but I don't foresee any problems. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and am looking forward to my first ride in those great looking Braum seats. So long and good riddance to those 37 year old original seats!

The Planted seat bracket fit perfectly in our Mopar e-body to mount new Sparco seats. Processing and delivery were quick. Fit is so much better than other brackets we have tried and the bolt kit saved a lot of running around.

Perfect fit! These are really nice. Better than I had hoped for. The Kia Soul seat rails mounted onto the brackets with ease.

Product fit perfect and made a big difference to style in my truck.

Slightly off of factory alignment. Had to trim slightly. Did not match with the aftermarket slider rail I bought. To be honest the install process was kind of a nightmare. I finally just bolted the NRG seat to the bracket. All in all, it's 140 dollars for something that sort of works. Kind of a rip off.

These guys build a quality product. It fits, is of high quality material and excellent workmanship! And the price is not bad for the correct layout of mounting holes. Put in a note for dummies like me that says to read the tags glued to the frame! My fault not theirs.

I had to order these brackets so my new Braum seats will fit in my 2004 Nissan 350z. At first, I wondered why they cost so much, but after getting them in and seeing the quality I was amazed, well worth the money and time to order them. Fits perfect and I would highly recommend these brackets.
